3-1) to create (something) by joining or gathering parts together
1. To assemble or construct : This is perhaps the most literal sense of the term. It's used when constructing furniture, building a model, or piecing
together a puzzle.
ex) You'll need a screwdriver to put the toy together.
ex) I put together the bookshelf from IKEA this afternoon.
ex) He took it apart brick by brick, and put it back together again.
ex) She knows computers like the back of her hand. She can take them apart and put them back together with her eyes closed.
2. To create or arrange :
"Put together" can refer to the process of creating or arranging something, often something abstract.
(to prepare a piece of work by organizing several ideas and suggestions)

ex) If you put together a group of people or things, you form them into a team or collection.

3-2) To compare or contrast / 동사가 아닌 부사절로 쓰이는 용법
In some contexts, "put together" can mean to compare or juxtapose two or more things.
ex) Even their combined efforts aren't as significant as his, if you put them together.
ex) You're smarter than all of those other guys put together.
ex) If you say that something is bigger or better than several other things put together, you mean that it is bigger or has more good qualities than all of those other things if they are added together.

4. put aside

: to decide or arrange to delay an event or activity until a later time or date
ex) We can't put this off any longer.
ex) Look, we've put this off long enough.
ex) Given the current market conditions, we have decided to put off the product launch until next quarter.
ex) Our CFO has been putting off the financial audit, but we can't delay it any longer without risking non-compliance.
ex) The board meeting was put off due to the sudden unavailability of key members."
7. put forward
: to suggest an idea or a plan so that it can be discussed
ex) She put forward several ideas for new projects.
ex) She put forward some cogent reasons for abandoning the plan.
