2. compel
: to force sb to do sth

: The word "correspond" is used to describe the situation where two things match, agree, or are similar. When you say the numbers and origins on the certification should correspond to those on the product, you mean they should match or be the same.
ex) Your account of events does not correspond with hers.

ex) The written record of the conversation doesn’t correspond to what was actually said.
ex) In some cases of importing specific products, importers are required to provide certain certifications. The information, such as numbers and origins on these certifications, should correspond exactly with the details present on the product itself.
ex) The ingredients listed on a food package's label should correspond exactly with what's inside, to comply with food safety and labeling regulations.
ex) The information provided in the financial reports should correspond to the company's actual financial transactions to maintain transparency and accuracy.
