분사로 멋진 문장쓰기 (보완 필요)

* 디테일한 수식을 분사로 처리

ex) The plants are dying in the poorly-drained and nutrient-deficient soil.

→ Dying plants in the poorly-drained and nutrient-deficient soil

ex) The man who was bitten by mosquitoes carrying malaria died.

→ The man bitten by malaria-carrying mosquitoes died.

 

 

* and 로 연결된 두 문장을 분사구문으로
ex) My coworker has a tremendous amount of experience in this field, having served as director of personnel at a fertilizer company. (= and she served as director of personnel at a fertilizer company.)
ex) They left remarkable pieces with little record about the artists, forcing (= and it forced) researchers to piece together what remained.
ex) Unit Four of the Chernobyl nuclear reactor exploded in Ukraine, damaging (= and it damaged) human immunities and the genetic structure of cells, contaminating (= and it contaminated) soils and waterways. 
ex) This led the temperature of the nuclear core to increase, causing (= and it caused) radioactive substance to ascend more rapidly, forming (= and it formed) a radioactive cloud that spread over other areas of the Northern Hemisphere.

 

* 뒷 문장의 주어가 앞 문장 전체를 가리키는 문형
ex) An unusually large amount of rain has fallen this year, making (=and it makes) it difficult to complete the road projects on time.

ex) The demand grew rapidly, leading (= and it led) the company to increase its production.

 

* 영어식 사고가 스며든 분사

ex) The increasing sound of a train as it approaches and the decreasing sound as it departs is a common example that can explain this effect.
