#1. Idiosyncratic
: "Idiosyncratic" is an adjective that refers to something that is peculiar or unique to an individual or a particular system.
It can be used to describe characteristics, behaviors, or methods that are distinctive or unusual.

ex) If a certain company has a unique or distinctive way of doing things that sets them apart from their competitors, that could be referred to as their "idiosyncratic approach."

ex) Our startup's idiosyncratic approach to customer service has set us apart in the market.

ex) The logistics industry is highly competitive. Does our organization have any idiosyncratic strategies that could distinguish us in the market? Or should we primarily focus on exceptional customer service and competitive pricing?

ex) The company's success was partly due to its idiosyncratic marketing campaigns that resonated with young audiences.
ex) His idiosyncratic sense of humor wasn't always understood, but those who got it found him hilarious.

ex) Her idiosyncratic approach to teaching made her classes both challenging and memorable.

cf) I want to know its nuance. Does it imply a negative meaning?  The word "idiosyncratic" is generally neutral and doesn't inherently carry a negative or positive connotation. It simply refers to something unique or distinctive to an individual or a specific group.

However, like many words, the connotation can change based on context. If someone's idiosyncrasies make them difficult to work with or understand, it could be seen as negative. Conversely, if an idiosyncratic approach leads to success or innovation, it could be viewed positively. So, the perception of the term "idiosyncratic" is largely dependent on the situation and the results of the unique trait or approach being referred to.
