1. Negligible

: so slight and it doesn't matter at all.

2. Nail
: to make or do (something) in a perfect or impressive way

: If you nail something, you do it extremely well or successfully.

 

ex) She nailed a three-point shot in the final seconds of the game.
ex) You really nailed that song. It sounded great! 

ex) Performance: "The guitarist really nailed the solo in that song, it was impressive!"
ex) Presentation: "Sarah nailed her business presentation yesterday; even the CEO was impressed."
ex) Interview: "I think I nailed the job interview. They seemed really positive about my responses."

 

3. Nail down 

: to finalize or secure something.

: If you nail down an agreement, you manage to reach a firm agreement with a definite result.

 

ex) The two leaders met to try to nail down the elusive accord.

ex) We need to nail down the details of the contract before we can move forward with this project."

ex) The company has finally nailed down the agreement with its distributors.

 

4. Narrow down

: to reduce the number of options or possibilities.

: If you narrow down a range of things, you reduce the number of things included in it.

ex) We've narrowed down our list of potential vendors to three. We'll make a decision by the end of the week.

ex) To narrow down its pool of applicants, the school made its admission requirements stricter.

ex) I've narrowed the list of candidates down to three. 

 

5.  Note
: If you note something, you mention it in order to draw people's attention to it.

: If you tell someone to note something, you are drawing their attention to it.

ex) It is worth noting that the most successful companies had the lowest prices.
