#1. outstanding 

: very remarkable and impressive, extremely good

: refers to something exceptionally good or impressively notable.

 

ex) Jennifer has shown outstanding performance this quarter, exceeding all her sales targets.

ex) I believe MKZ is going to have a truly outstanding year.
ex) Sinee's Catering is always ready to deliver outstanding food to your special events. 

ex) Our latest smartphone model has received outstanding reviews for its innovative design and user-friendly features.

ex) The R&D department has made an outstanding contribution to our product line with their innovative ideas.

ex) The company reported outstanding results this fiscal year, with a 30% growth in revenue compared to last year.

 

 

#2. overwhelm

: to cause sb to have too many things to deal with

ex) The many requests for assistance overwhelmed them.

#3. override / overriding 

: to have more importance or influence than (something)

: If one thing in a situation overrides other things, it is more important than them.

: In the context where "override" means something is considered more important than another, it typically implies that one priority, rule, or consideration takes precedence over or supersedes another due to its greater significance or urgency.

 

ex) The welfare of a child should always override the wishes of its parents. 

ex) Considerations of safety override all other concerns. 

ex) The overriding factor is the one that is the most important.

ex) My overriding concern is to raise the standards of state education. 

ex) Their overriding aim was to keep costs low. 

ex) International law does not support the position that a civil claim should override immunity from suit for the sole reason that it is based on an allegation of a particularly grave violence of a norm international law, even a norm of jus cogens.
