#1. cut somebody some slack

: to not judge sb as severely as you usually would because they are having problems at the present time;

: "Cut somebody some slack" is an idiom meaning to give someone more freedom or leniency than usual, especially by not being too critical or demanding. 

 

ex) Hey, cut him some slack. He's doing his best.

: to feel or show great love for (someone or something)

: to remember or hold (an idea, belief, etc.) in a deeply felt way

: The word "cherish" generally means to hold something dear, value it highly, or treat it with great care and affection. 

 

ex) Cherish the memory of those days in Paris. 

ex) Life is short. We have to cherish every moment of our life. 

ex) Indeed, their poop which we originally cherished as fertilizer, presents a unique problem. 

ex) At our company, we cherish our long-standing relationships with clients, ensuring we always meet their needs with the highest level of service.

 

 

#3. Conduct

: When you conduct an activity or task, you organize it and carry it out.

 

ex) To expedite the customs clearance process, the customs broker must conduct a thorough review of all shipping documents before the shipment arrives.

ex) We regularly conduct safety inspections.

ex) The new telescope offers an unparalleled opportunity to conduct research. 

ex) We are conducting a survey to find out what our customers think of their local bus service.
