1. deliver
: If you deliver something that you have promised to do, make, or produce, you do, make, or produce it.
ex) If you can't deliver improved sales figures, you are fired.
ex) The team delivered a stunning victory last night.
ex) The bilateral alliance has helped deliver stability and prosperity to northeast Asia.
ex) We gave her the job because we know she'll deliver. [=come through]

: when sth doubles or when you double it, it becomes twice as great in number, amount, or size
