Native speakers often use a variety of phrases and idioms to express the concept of interdependence or a strong  correlation between two things. Here are some commonly used expressions:

1. "There's a direct correlation between A and B."
2. "A and B go hand in hand."
3. "A is closely linked to B." (or closely connected)

7. "A and B are mutually reinforcing."

-  "Life expectancy and hygiene are closely linked."
-  "There's a direct correlation between one's happiness and material abundance."
-  "The interplay between a healthy lifestyle and longevity is well-documented."

cf) highly related // have a high level of correlation??
While the phrases "highly related" or "have a high level of correlation" are understandable, they can sound a bit formal or less natural in everyday speech.
For instance, instead of saying "A and B are highly related," a native speaker might say "A and B are closely intertwined" or "There's a strong link between A and B."
Similarly, rather than saying "A and B have a high level of correlation," it's more conversational to say "A and B are directly correlated" or "A strongly influences B."

To express that there is no connection, link, or causal relationship between two things, A and B, native English speakers  use various phrases. Some of these are:

3. "A has nothing to do with B."

4. "A and B are completely independent of each other."
5. "A and B are mutually exclusive."
6. "There's no connection between A and B."  (no link between A and B)
7. "A does not influence B, and vice versa."

8. "There is no mutual influence between A and B."
9. "A and B operate independently."
