1. equip

: If something equips you for a particular task or experience, it gives you the skills and attitudes you need for it, especially by educating you in a particular way.
ex) The aim of this workshop is to equip business leaders with the tools to make prudent financial decisions.
ex) The goal of the course is to equip people with the skills necessary for a job in this technological age.
